Dr. Dylan J. Clark

Dylan Clark is Program Director for InHerit: Indigenous Heritage Passed to Present at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  An archaeologist specializing in Mesoamerican cultures, particularly Maya culture and coastal port communities, he received his Ph.D. in Anthropology from Harvard University.  He served as residential scholar at Boundary End Center in 2017 and was a Tyler Fellow in Pre-Columbian Studies at Dumbarton Oaks Research Library and Collection, 2011-2013.  He is co-editor (with David Anderson and J. Heath Anderson) of the AP3A volume Constructing Legacies of Mesoamerica: Archaeological Practice and the Politics of Heritage in and Beyond Mexico (2015).
