Mallory Matsumoto

Mallory Matsumoto is a PhD candidate in anthropology at Brown University. Her research addresses the interface between language, material culture, and identity in pre-Columbian and colonial-era Maya communities. She has conducted archaeological fieldwork and archival research in Guatemala and Mexico, most recently as a member of theProyecto Arqueológico Busiljá-Chocoljá.
